Veran is the epitome of all evil in the world of Serenya. His
followers do everything from torture to genocide, and pride
themselves in original acts of evil. He is represented by the
dark moon orbiting the skies of Serenya, named after him and
thought by the masses to be his physical representation. He has
in fact accepted this role to a degree - whenever the moon is
alone in the night sky, an event that happens only one night of
the year, he grants his priests additional powers. The greatest
acts of evil occur on these nights.

Create as much misery as possible. Destroy those who are in your
way, preferably with a slow death.
